For years, everyone patiently waits for the holiday fireworks displays offered throughout the area. This year no one will be disappointed because of a schedule conflict or rainout because Keansburg Amusement Park will be repeatedly sponsoring FREE fireworks displays. Starting with the Independence Day Celebration, Hank and Bill Gehlhaus will be hosting these displays on both July 3rd and July 4th. “Our guests are always requesting different days to celebrate the 4th because of their work schedules, so we decided to honor their requests and have the displays on both days. This way everyone is happy and people always get a chance to visit the park with their family to have some fun and enjoy a great fireworks show. The company we are working with puts on one of the most popular shows in the state,” comments Hank. The Gehlhaus family has been practicing this double booking theory for several years and is quite happy with the outcome. Because of the shows’ popularity, they have contracted with Garden State Fireworks Company and established a full summer schedule. Besides the two day 4th of July shows, every Monday evening at dusk, starting July 17 through August 21, 2006, there will be a FREE fireworks display at Keansburg Amusement Park. “Combined with the buy one/get one FREE wristband special, Mondays are great value days for families.
